Barnaby's

While Amanda and I were sitting around the house the other day we realized the house was very quiet.  We talked about how our lives boring and in need of some excitement.  We talked about getting a pet and decided to make our way out to look for a furry friend.  We ended up here...

Haha just kidding!  Animals are stupid!  This is a restaurant(and I think the dog theme is horrible)!

Barnaby's Cafe

We stopped in to Barnaby's for our lunch break while working our 8 hour shift at Home Goods on Saturday.  As we waited for a table we kept seeing the same dish coming out of the kitchen.  We were not quite sure what it was, but it was obviously popular.  We sat down at our table and began reading the menu.  We determined that what we had been seeing was the hummus and we placed an order.

A tub of creamy hummus was delivered to us promptly with pita chips for dipping.  It was a lot of hummus and could probably feed a family of 8, but we were starving and we ate the entire thing.  It was very good and made fresh everyday.

Amanda ordered the Hawaiian pork chops served with grilled pineapple, sweet potato fries and homemade applesauce.

I ordered the blue cheese & bacon burger served with waffle fries. I always appreciate a good helping of blue cheese on a burger and this one did not disappoint.

 Overall this was a good place to stop in for lunch.  It was in a quiet neighborhood and a lot of the items are made fresh daily.  They did have a dog theme on the inside which we did not like, but it was easy to ignore.
