Color in Motion

We are not really runners, I would say we dabble in it.  We always say we are going to start running but when it comes to hitting the pavement, it is never as fun as we want it to be.  We are not giving up on it though.  In an effort to make running fun for us, we sign-up for 5K gimmick runs once a year.

The Santa Hustle  -  Miserable run through the snow.  Instead of passing out water along the course, they passed out cookies and hot chocolate.

The Big Ten 5K  -  This race represented all of the schools in the Big 10, unfortuantely it was right after the drama at PSU and thus our mascot was absent as a cheerleader along the route.  We were super bummed about that.

So a couple of weeks ago when a Living Social Deal came across for the Color in Motion 5K, we figured it was time to try again.  Plus we do not remember a time that we could be comfortable in shorts and t-shirts outside in February!

The concept was simple, dress in white and throughout the course you would be sprayed with color.  It was a cool concept and made for some fun pictures.

Color war in action....

All-in-all it was a gorgeous day and a great way to spend our morning.  I don't think we will be signing up for a marathon anytime soon but at least we can say we dabble in running.
